THE GATEWAY STUDIO STAFF is a professional who delivers a variety of Salon & wellness treatments like massages, facials, body wraps, and other beauty services to clients in a spa & salon setting, aiming to create a relaxing and rejuvenating experience by focusing on individual needs and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining hygiene standards and adhering to safety protocols; their primary responsibility is to ensure client satisfaction through skilled treatments and personalized consultations.
Our Staff Responsibilities:
- Performing different types of massages, Hair beauty & Salon treatments, and wellness therapies.
- Maintaining detailed records of massages, treatments, and salon services performed on each guest.
- Communicating with guests during massages to adjust massage techniques as required.
- Resolving guest complaints and reporting any accidents to the supervisor.
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, changing treatment room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before each use.
- Explaining All Salon services & massages, Spa treatments, and therapies to guests and providing suitable recommendations as needed.
- Ensuring that the spa is adequately stocked with salon & spa supplies and reporting shortages to the supervisor.
- Enquiring about guests’ medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services.
The Gateway Staff Hiring Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Licensed in massage therapy and cosmetology or aesthetics.
- Proven experience working as a spa therapist.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and different massage techniques.
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
